Penguin Rush – Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 October 2026

Penguin Rush (the “App”) is published by Good Egg Marketing, Melbourne, Australia (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the App collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. Contact us at support@goodeggmarketing.com.au.

Summary

  • You don’t create an account, and we don’t ask for your name, email, location, contacts or photos.
  • Your game progress (scores, coins, cosmetics, settings) is stored on your device.
  • The App uses Google services for ads, analytics, crash reports, remote settings and in-app purchases. These services collect device and usage information as described below.
  • If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, you are asked for consent before personalised ads or analytics storage are used, and you can change your choice any time in Settings → Update Ad Privacy Choices.

Information stored on your device

High score, best distance, coins, unlocked and equipped cosmetics, mission progress, sound/music/vibration settings, whether the tutorial has been shown, and whether you have purchased “Remove Ads”. This stays on your device. If you have Android backup turned on, this game-progress file may be included in your Google backup so it can be restored on a new device. You can erase it with Settings → Reset All Progress or by uninstalling the App.

Information collected by third-party services

Why: Understand how the game is played and improve it

Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC)

Google’s use of this information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. See also How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the App to collect information we can use to identify you by name.

Advertising and your choices

  • By default the App does not use ads personalisation signals for Google Analytics.
  • In regions where consent is required, a Google consent form appears on first launch. You can review or change your choices any time in Settings → Update Ad Privacy Choices.
  • You can reset or delete your Advertising ID in your Android device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads, or Settings → Google → Ads, depending on your device).
  • Buying “Remove Ads” turns off banner and full-screen ads. Rewarded videos remain optional and are only shown when you choose to watch one.

Children

Penguin Rush is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, contact us and we will help remove it.

Data retention

Game progress stays on your device until you reset it or uninstall the App. Analytics data is kept for no longer than our Google Analytics retention setting (a maximum of 14 months). Crash reports are kept by Firebase Crashlytics for up to 90 days. Advertising data is retained by Google under its own policies.

Security

Information sent to Google services is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS).

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, the EU/UK GDPR, or US state privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information, or to object to certain processing. Because we don’t hold accounts, most information is linked only to random device identifiers. Email support@goodeggmarketing.com.au and we will help, including requests to delete analytics data linked to your device. You may also complain to your local privacy regulator (in Australia, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, oaic.gov.au).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the App changes. The “Last updated” date above shows when it was last revised.
